Simon's musical lineage stretches back to the late 80's as founder member of electro noise terrorists Twelve 88 Cartel and later bass player with John Peel Session faves the Psylons (Thunderbird). Also a main part of the Seatman Separator Trio. His music has appeared in the record boxes of such diverse DJ's as Dietrich Schoeneman, Joel Mull and Carl Cox. Simons musical works feature on over 50 releases, he has also done a number of remixes for artists including Ian Void, Vortechtral, Bonemachine (Hackpen), including a co-remix with the infamous Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Rolling Dog. Simon has also played alongside guests such as Dr Alex Paterson from the Orb and techno luminaries including Billy Nasty, Umek, Luke Slater… Tracks have been featured at media festivals, and have reached the airwaves of Radio 1, and many other FM stations and webcasts. His Permanent Way album was inspired by some of Simon's favourite artists and composers from his musical past from obscure electronica to punk and classical. Released on the label Hackpen Records, it covers a cross section of genres from electro, house, breakbeat to techno and ambient, and saw massive support with outstanding reviews. Reconsequences is a follow up to Permanent Way, featuring a stunning selection of lush ambient and downtempo recordings.
